2009年端午大賽時風浪情況是四十年來最差一屆 ( 熱身賽及短途賽也不遑多讓)，比賽要減少艇上人員數目，實逼不得已。幸得多各方好友體諒兼合作，竟全部完成。要再三各向各方好友道謝！
